WHEELS-INSPECTOR

WHEELS-INSPECTOR is an automatic inspection system, planned for the verification in line of multiple characteristics of steel and alloy wheels.

The main system characteristics are:

• Recognition of type and wheel aesthetic characteristics
  

• Analysis of dimensional characteristics for wheels with diameters starting from 12" and widths from 3½"
  

• Recognition and data interpretation on labels
  

• Wheel roundness and concentricity control
  

• Presence and dimensional control of holes and threads
  

• Surface control (ex. painting quality, etc.)
  

• Recognition and marking interpretation on black or chrome and aluminum background
  

• Presence, dimension and quality verification of weldings
  

The entire cycle time required to carry out simultaneously all the above indicated inspections depends from the involved controls, however between 3” and ~10” for wheel.
